Presenting: The first and only English translation of the Marian classic – first published in French in 1667 –

Canon Blain wrote…
“As Louis-Marie devoted a lot of time to spiritual reading, he became familiar with nearly all books dealing with the spiritual life. Those which in my opinion were his favorites were those by the late Fr. Boudon. He would have liked everybody to join the society of the slaves of the Blessed Virgin. The source of this zeal was the book “The Holy Slavery of the Admirable Mother of God” written on this subject by the late Fr. Boudon.”
And Montfort Father Jean-Marie Texier pointed out…
“The writings of this holy priest (Fr. Boudon) charmed the fervent seminarian (St. Louis) in his free time and gave a lively impulse to his momentum toward the good. But none captivated him as much as “The Holy Slavery of the Admirable Mother of God”.
“It is a rich repertoire from which Montfort drew extensively when he composed his “Treatise on the True Devotion”. One finds, in effect, in the writings of Montfort, the thoughts of Boudon, and sometimes even his expressions.”

This book is a real eye-opener. Because it was first published in 1667 it took me two years to find it and translate it.
St. Louis admitted…
“I have now said many things about the Most Holy Virgin; but I have many more to say, and there are infinitely more which I shall omit, whether from ignorance, inability, or want of time” (“True Devotion to Mary”, #111).
This book fills in those gaps. St. Louis revealed…
“Predestinate soul, here is a secret the Most High has taught me, which I have not been able to find in any book, old or new. I confide it to you, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit” (“The Secret of Mary”, #1).
This secret is the spiritual equivalent of turning your annual salary into your monthly salary. St. Louis emphasizes…
“By this practice, faithfully observed, you will give Jesus more glory in a month than by any other practice, however difficult, in many years” (True Devotion, #222).
Imagine what that’ll do for your relationship with God.

Blessed Pope Pius IX wrote in the Encyclical Ubi primum:
“God has committed to Mary the treasury of all good things, in order that everyone may know that through her are obtained every hope, every grace, and all salvation. For this is His will, that we obtain everything through Mary.”
He also declared that St. Louis’ devotion to Mary was the best and most acceptable form of devotion to Our Lady, which means this is the best way to help Our Lady carry out her mission of saving sinners.
Our Lady wants you to share in her compassion for sinners, and she asks for your help to save them.
To emphasize this, she showed the three shepherd children at Fatima a vision of hell, and told them…
“You have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God wishes to establish throughout the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart.”
And on Aug. 19, 1917, she told them, “Pray, pray a great deal, and make sacrifices for sinners, for many souls go to hell because they have no one to sacrifice and pray for them.”
And so, there are souls who not only need you to practice devotion to her, but this specific devotion to her.
That’s because St. Louis also emphasized that this devotion is “more glorious to God, more sanctifying to the soul, and more useful to the neighbor, than any other of the devotions to her” (True Devotion, #118).

The Bible tells us: “And those who lead many to justice shall be like the stars forever” (Dan. 12:3).
And…
“He must know that whoever causes a sinner to be converted from the error of his way will save his soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins” (James 5:20).

P.S. If you’re the type of person who likes to skip right to the bottom like I do, here’s a summary of what I just said…
St. Louis-Marie de Montfort wrote…
“Predestinate soul, here is a secret the Most High has taught me, which I have not been able to find in any book, old or new. I confide it to you, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit” (“The Secret of Mary”, #1).
And he called this secret…
“…a mystery of grace unknown to even the wisest and most spiritual among Christians” (“True Devotion to Mary”, #21).
He also admitted…
“I have now said many things about the Most Holy Virgin; but I have many more to say, and there are infinitely more which I shall omit, whether from ignorance, inability, or want of time” (True Devotion, #111).
“The Holy Slavery of the Admirable Mother of God” – St. Louis de Montfort’s favorite Marian book – fills in these gaps, and shows you how to use this secret, so you can transform your relationship with Jesus in just 30 days. St. Louis insisted…
“By this practice, faithfully observed, you will give Jesus more glory in a month than by any other practice, however difficult, in many years” (True Devotion, #222).
That’s one of the reasons why Blessed Pope Pius IX confirmed that St. Louis de Montfort’s devotion to Mary was the best and most acceptable form of devotion to Our Lady.
The book is just 18.99 for the paperback, 13.99 for the audiobook, and 9.99 on Kindle.
